Visas

Visa requirements are different for each African country depending on your nationality. Visa requirements are also subject to change so make sure you check with the embassy/ high commission in your country before travelling.

Many travel agents will arrange all your visas for you for a small fee, a service well worth considering if you don’t have lots of spare time on your hands to fill out forms, get bank cheques, self addressed envelopes etc etc.

Many countries allow you to get visas at the border or airport. This can sometimes be cheaper than getting it before you go however lines at airports and borders for those needing visa can be hours longer than those with visas.
